Our Programs
Sports Activities and community programs
Women & Youth Sports Development
Our teams started out with local games within the community. Slowly, they have progressed to tournaments, finally developing into clubs. Our women's netball/football club has a combined amount of 47 members.
Our teen's and children's clubs provide a safe space in which children use their free time for productive activities. We are open 2 days during school time, 6 days aweek in holidays, giving vulnerable families a form of respite. Our teen's club has 82 members and our children's club has 141 members. Furthermore, one of our objectives is to ensure children have an opportunity to progress in their education through sport opportunities and mentorship.
Annual Community Sports Festival
For the past 5 years in December, we have held an annual Holiday Sport's Festival. United through this event are various neighboring communities that come to celebrate. It has encouraged positive youth engagement among our participants. It has also provided much needed support for orphaned children we have sponsored for the past three years through school supply drives.
Swift Superladies Netball Club
Swift Superladies Netball Club is one of our central sports programmes and provides girls and women with opportunities to develop their athletic ability, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and confidence.
Beyond sports development activities and fitness, we are working to develop programmes that respond to the wider needs of disadvantaged children, school-age girls, young people, and single mothers and entire community. These include kids education support, Weekend Natural skills development, Basic Education Class,Single mothers'kids nutrition support,HiV/Aids counseling support, Community health sensitization, and sustainable community projects.
